“CASEKEY” ANNUAL STUDENT BUSINESS COMPETITION IS LAUNCHED

The call for “CaseKey” Business Case Solution Competition is already open. The international competition will be held in Armenia for the second time, this time with the engagement of more stakeholders.

The competition is aimed at giving students the opportunity to apply the business knowledge they have acquired to provide solutions to real business ideas. According to the format, after a 5-month training program, the participants are divided into teams and are assigned with the business case for that year, after which they are given 72 hours to solve it.

“The event held in 2021 was in fact the first competition to solve business cases in Armenia, and we have an intention of making it continuous, involving even more stakeholders. After the competition, we were even able to receive an invitation for the best student team to represent Armenia in the international competition to be held in Florida, the USA on March 20-26, 2022,” said Arshak Karapetyan, the event co-organizer and President of the Nation in Action initiative.

Last year, the competition received applications from more than 300 individuals and 20 teams, out of which about 30% were selected. The participants were given the opportunity to meet with representatives of the Armenian business community, establish business contacts and in many cases receive job invitations. The winning team received a $ 3,000 prize, which can be directed to the participation in educational events.
