NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

In order to encourage scientific-research activities, as well as to ensure the participation of students in their implementation, National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia announces an internal grant awarding competition.

Representatives of the University’s main working and academic staff, as well as researchers with the involvement of at least two students can participate in the Competition.

In order to participate in the Competition, the following documents must be submitted to NUACA Science Department by February 15, 2024.

1) The application of the group leader;

2) The application form with the following mandatory parts:

• validity and novelty of the topic;
• analysis of the current state of the problem;
• scientific methods of implementation;
• scientific goals and objectives of the topic;
• scientific novelty and applied significance;
• stages of research implementation (research program);
• expected outcomes.

3) The program estimate,  indicating the distribution of funds among the participants;

4) The conclusion of the Scientific Council of the relevant faculty regarding the novelty and applied significance of the topic;

5) Copies of passports of the participants;

6) The list of scientific and scientific-methodical works published by the topic supervisor in the last 5 years;

7) References regarding students’ GPAs issued by the Dean’s Office of the relevant faculty;

8) Information on the possibility of investing the research outcomes in professional academic programmes.

Applications can be submitted to the Competition in the following thematic areas:

1) Technical sciences;

2) Architecture;

3) Design;

4) Economics and Management (field of Construction).

In 2024, a different student grant is also planned to be awarded by the University’s Student Council.

The Competition is organized according to the “Procedure for Organizing Grant Competitions for Scientific-Research Activities by National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia”.
