All4R&D – “Promoting academia-industry alliances for R&D through collaborative and open innovation platform” Erasmus+ project

National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, in coordination with the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, has succeeded in the above-mentioned Project within the framework of Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ programme “Capacity Building in Higher Education Action” in 2018.
The duration of the Erasmus+ project “Promoting the Academia-Industry Alliances for Research and Development through Collaborative and Open Innovatiօn Platform” is 36 months (2018-2021), but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Project was extended by November this year. The All4R&D Erasmus+ project is coordinated by the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Macedonia.
The objective of the All4R&D Project is to contribute to research, innovation, knowledge and technology transfer in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Armenia by promoting strategic, scientific-educational and business cooperation.
The specific objectives of the Erasmus+ All4R&D Project are:
- strengthen existing and new university infrastructures,
- create collaborative “Research and Development” (RD) units/departments together with business, in the fields of creation and transfer of knowledge , research and innovation, as well as commercialization of research and scientific results,
- develop a methodology for collaboration and open innovation, create a web platform that focuses on transfer of knowledge, innovation, and networking potential,
- test and review the model of cooperation between universities and companies through pilot projects,
- promote the career development and employment of students and graduates by offering new opportunities in the field of research and education.
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ All4R&D Project, National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia established a “Seismic Research and Development Unit” in March-April, 2019, as well as
- a business plan for the above-mentioned unit-laboratory has been developed,
- the strategic plan is currently under development,
- equipment has been acquired,
- courses as part of the additional and continuing education of the Research and Development Unit have been implemented by NUACA team members of the Project.
