Seminar-Consultations
On 19-21 October 2015 NUACA hosts seminar-consultations on “Inshore Integrated Monitoring of Environmental Problems in Marine Areas of Wharf and the Ways of their Solutions”. During the consultations the results of implemented actions will be discussed together with further cooperation steps among the participant countries.
Business trip to Sochi
The National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia also participated in international school-seminar on “Study of uniqueness of buildings and structures on the example of Olympic sports and entertainment facilities of Sochi, Krasnodar” organized by Rostov State Construction University in Tuapse, Russian Federation from 2 to 15 August 2015.
The main working days of international school-seminar were being held in Tuapse, however, in order to study the facilities in place a trip to Adler was organized to study the Olympic stadiums and the facilities constructed in Rosa-Khutor, Krasnoya Polyana and Olympic village. During the visits meetings were arranged with the specialists who had direct participation in design and construction works of buildings and structures.
The main goal of school-seminar was to support the exchange of scientific views, ideas and opinions in professional environment. All participants mentioned the importance of the seminar and expressed the desire to expand the scope of participants and make it continuous.
The closing ceremony of school-seminar took place on 13 August.
Within the framework of collaboration agreement signed between National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and University of Udine, Italy in May 2015 the Italian teaching staff will make a working visit to our university from 4-8 September. The delegation members are: associate professor Anna Frangipani, researcher Margarita Pauletta, sculptor Daniel Temresyan and assistant Matteo Nicolini.
During university visit a meeting is scheduled with NUACA Rector Gagik Galstyan, representatives of faculties and chairs, visits to Armenian historical and cultural places, construction sites, reservoirs and HPPs.
On 4 September Professor Margarita Pauletta will represent a report on “Design of Seismic Building Structures”, Academician E. Khachiyan will represent a report on “The Issues of Seismic Construction in Armenia” and T. Margaryan will represent a report on “Use of Stone in Construction History of Armenia”.
And on 7 September, from 9:30 to 14:00 Professors Matteo Nicolini and Anna Frangipani will make speeches on “Water Management, Outflow Reduction and Energy Saving of Water Distribution Networks” and “Use of Stone in Construction History”.
The delegation will leave Armenia on 8 September.
