Course developer

The “3D scanning and data processing” short training course has been developed by the faculties of NUACA within the HERITAG Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.

 

Purpose and Objectives

The purpose of this course is to provide trainees with the essential foundation for professionals about 3D scanning technology by optical sensors and scanning techniques.

The key objectives of the short training course is to provide trainees with:

  • understanding about modern geodetic equipement  
  • software, techniques and models for making plans and digital images
  • learning the workflow from the capture with a 3D laser scanner
  • identifying and accessing publicly available data sets
  • knowledge about Trimble Real Works software and package.
