The Educational Laboratory for Construction Chemistry was established in 2020. During that time, a platinum crucible was acquired, through which it will be possible to conduct silicate analysis to determine the amounts of SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3, FeO, Fe2O3, MnO, MgO, CaO in cement and various minerals. The laboratory also has the capability to conduct quantitative analysis through titration, with the help of which it is possible to determine the quantitative composition of materials. With the help of quantitative analysis, numerous determinations can be made, such as the mass ratios between elements, the amounts of complex substances (acids, bases, salts) in mixtures, water hardness, pH levels of solutions, and the total chlorine content in water.
