THE SCIENCE COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES A CONTEST FOR EXPERIMENTAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

The RA Science Committee organizes a contest for the selection of applications for Experimental Development Projects.

The current contest will replace the contests organized by the RA Science Committee in previous years aimed at achieving applied outcomes, with the main difference that the projects must have a certain technology readiness level (TRL) at the end.

            The objectives of the contest are:

  • To support the development of new technologies,
  • To support increasing the technology readiness level,
  • To contribute to the application of the scientific research outcomes in production,
  • To contribute to the growth of the socio-economic impact of scientific and scientific-technical activities,
  • To promote the implementation of applicable developments in the field of natural, medical, agricultural sciences and engineering,
  • To contribute to the formation of connections between science and business.

            The submitted projects must correspond to the “Natural Sciences”, “Engineering and Technology”, “Medical Sciences”, “Agricultural Sciences” fields of scientific and scientific-technical activity.

            For the development and implementation of projects, scientific-research groups consisting of 4-5 people will receive up to 30 million AMD for 24 months. Projects can continue for another 12 months, for which up to 15 million AMD will be provided.

            The projects must have co-funding in the amount of at least 6 million AMD from a non-governmental organization, the latter must be interested in the application of the outcome of the project.

            Applications are accepted through the grants.scs.am online system until November 25, 2022, included.
