NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The student project exhibition organized by the Faculty of Design has launched. It included student works of 2020-2023 related to academic programmes of Interior and Exterior Design, as well as Industrial Design. Scale models of the projects were also presented.

Dean of the Faculty of Design Artashes Melikyan made an opening speech at the exhibition: “Exhibitions at the Faculty of Design are already traditional, and today students’ course projects are presented with attached scale models. This is the tendency that makes us be qualitatively higher and better. The projects presented at the exhibition express the content of all syllabi in the faculty. Such an approach is considered fundamental – the learning outcome of any course should serve and be expressed in exam projects. I heartily congratulate the students, as well as the teaching staff,” said Mr. Melikyan.

Head of the Chair of Design, Professor Ashot Baghdasaryan also made a speech. “Everyone knows that both in the Chair of Design and in the Faculty, great importance is attached to presenting the mastered courses practically. This is how students’ knowledge is tested and the topics sent to various contests become competitive. I congratulate all the students and lecturers, and I think that the exhibition is a success,” said Mr. Baghdasaryan.

After the opening words and speeches, Mr. Melikyan announced the opening of the exhibition and all the attendees went around and got acquainted with the presented works.
