NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

In accordance with the procedure for the organization of the competition for providing grants for the implementation of scientific-research activities by NUACA, the Competition Committee summarized the results of the evaluation of the submitted applications for 2024.

According to the fields, the following topics with the highest scores were declared winners:

• In the field of “Architecture”, topic “Development of the Concept of Historical and Cultural Evaluation of Nubarashen District, Yerevan” (Head of the Topic: Emma Harutyunyan, Students: Elen Hovhannisyan, Tatevik Hayrapetyan, Davit Zalinyan).
• In the field of “Technical Sciences” (Construction and related fields), topic “Development of Technologies for Drainage and Wastewater Treatment of Small Settlements of the Republic of Armenia” (Head of the Topic: Varuzhan Shamyan, Students: Khachik Kirakosyan, Robert Noramiryan).
• In the field of “Design”, topic “Scientific Complex Research Supporting the Conceptual Design of Anti-Mine and Multi-Functional Military Footwear” (Head of the Topic: Ani Acharyan, Students: Srbuhi Zirakyan, Luiza Petrosyan).
• In the field of “Economics and Management (in Construction)”, topic “Energy Certification of Buildings and Analysis of Energy Efficiency Improvement” (Head of the Topic: Naira Egnatosyan, Students: Lusine Martirosyan, Alexey Rudomyotkin).

The grant provided for each topic is two million AMD.

The Commission also provided a separate grant to NUACA Student Council to conduct research on the topic of “Monitoring of the Educational Process and Analysis of Results” (Head of the topic: Susanna Hakobyan, executors: Mane Dabaghyan, Ani Vardanyan).
