The Francophone Digital Center of Yerevan, in cooperation with the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan organizes the first contest entitled “My Thesis in 180 Seconds” in Armenia. The national final stage of the contest will be organized in June 2021 in Yerevan. Applications are accepted by June 14, 2021.
The aim of the contest is to make scientific communication and perception public through collaboration with different fields of research. The contest provides the participants with the opportunity to present their research topic in French to professional and non-professional audiences in a comprehensible way. Each candidate has 180 seconds and one slide to present his/her research results to the public in a clear, creative and persuasive way.
It is necessary for the candidate to pre-register or be registered in the postgraduate program of any Armenian university or scientific center (in the current 2020-2021 academic year or in the previous 2 years (2019-2020 and 2018-2019), as well as to have a scientific degree, to communicate in French, to present the university where the postgraduate student is registered, to inform the thesis supervisor about his/her participation in the contest, to present a sufficient state of progress of the research project and to ensure his/her participation in the different stages of the contest (see the calendar).
