Dear University staff and students,
The Higher Education and Science Committee informs that by order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the procedure for the nationwide certification of scientific and engineering and technical personnel has been approved. The process is envisaged to be held in 2026.
The certification will be carried out in accordance with the new minimum standards established by Decision N 2298-N of December 21, 2023, as well as additional standards established by the Scientific Organization and the Scientific Department of the Higher Educational Institution, based on their specific characteristics.
The results of the certification will serve as the basis for reviewing the funding allocated to the Organization.

The certification of scientific personnel, which is carried out at least once every 5 years, is aimed at the introduction of an effective system for the certification of scientific and engineering-technical personnel and the evaluation of scientific and engineering-technical positions, as well as the improvement of employee qualification and the efficiency of state funding in the field of science.”
