Within the framework of the cooperation of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and the USAID “Armenia Improved Water Management for Sustainable Economic Growth” Program, NUACA graduates and young specialists have the opportunities to participate in the online Graduate Certificate Program in Global Engineering with focus on water resource management through the Mortenson Center in Global Engineering & Resilience (MCGER) at the University of Colorado Boulder, USA.
The participants of the Program will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge in the fields of management of water resources, water quality improvement, implementation of water monitoring technologies, simulation modeling and data analysis. During the practice the participants will be able to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience within the framework of the USAID “Armenia Improved Water Management for Sustainable Economic Growth” Program.
NUACA graduate students, post-graduate students, applicants, young lecturers and graduates with high academic performance and excellent English proficiency are eligible to apply to the Program.
The Course is online, the duration is 15 months, the number of awarded credits is 24, and the cost is 18,936 USD, a grant of 9,468 USD of which is provided by the University of Colorado, Boulder, 8,521.20 USD is paid by USAID “Armenia Improved Water Management for Sustainable Economic Growth” Program, and the student pays 946.80 USD.
Admission requirements:
The English proficiency requirement will not be applied if the applicant has completed at least one semester of full-time study at an institution where English is the language of instruction, or if the applicant has full-time work experience within two years of the application deadline for a Program where English is the official language.
Application Requirements:
The deadline for applying to the Program is May 19, 2024. Those who successfully complete the Course will be awarded with an engineering qualification certificate.
