The RA National Security Service informs that on November 16 of this year, in order to cause panic among the population of the Republic of Armenia, messages containing disinformation provided by Azeris were spread on various social platforms and websites, appealing particularly to launch “terrorist” telephone operations against Armenians (Друзья, просим Вас начать кампанию телефонного террора против армян). In these messages it is recommended to dial +374 country code, then all 91, 99, 43, 77, 93, 94, 98 telephone codes of mobile operators, after which to dial any 7-digit number to send voice or text messages in Russian with calls for immediate evacuation of cities and settlements on the border of Azerbaijan.

At the same time, appeals are made to spread messages according to which Meghri, Kapan, Kajaran, Jermuk, Tatev, Goris, Tegh, Sisian, Angeghakot towns and settlements will soon be occupied by the Azerbaijani armed forces, and that these lands have already been handed over to Azerbaijan. In addition, the spread messages should state that Yashma and subversive groups of Azerbaijani special services are already in those settlements.

The RA NSS urges to be vigilant, to ignore possible suspicious calls and messages.
