ADMISSION TO PART-TIME POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia announces admission to  part-time  (state-funded) postgraduate studies for the 2024/2025 academic year in the following specialty:

  • 00.01 Architecture -2 places

People holding a Master’s or a Specialist degree are eligible to participate in the Competition. The Competition is held according to the grade received from the specialty examination.

The admission of documents of postgraduate students is from August 26 to September 13, 2024 included, the specialty examination – September 17-24, 2024 included.

Postgraduate students submit the following documents to the Department of Postgraduate Education and Information:

  • Application addressed to the Rector;
  • Copies of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees or Specialist diplomas and their supplements (a document on education compliance for those who have obtained their higher education in universities abroad);
  • Attestation certificate of a foreign language (English: TOEFL iBT or IELTS, French: TCF or German: onSET) or a corresponding reference (defined by the internal threshold with a score assessment);
  • A copy of at least one research article published in the peer-reviewed scientific journals of the chosen specialty or a scientific research paper within at least 20 printed pages with a positive written review issued by the chair in the given specialty;
  • Personal record sheet, autobiography and four photos (3×4 size);
  • Diplomas received at international or republican student subject competitions or Olympiads, or reports of participation in international conferences (if available);
  • A copy of the military ID card (if not available, copy of the conscription registration certificate).

Postgraduate students submit the passport and the original diploma of the Master’s or Specialist Degree.

Within the framework of the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme “Developing Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programmes and Strengthening Research Networks in Geoinformation Technologies in Armenia & Kyrgyzstan” (GeoTAK) project, National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia envisages to implement a joint post-graduate pilot academic programme with YSU and ANAU with specialties 05.23.06 (Geodesy, including Cartography and Cadastre) and 24.03.01 (Geography).
