Dear students,

We would like to inform you that a seminar on the crypto industry will be held at NUACA on the initiative of the Department of Economics, Law and Management of the Faculty of Management and Technology.

The aim of the Meeting is to form a realistic understanding of the crypto industry among students, without technical overload and without spreading “get rich quick”  myths.

During the seminar, the main directions of the crypto industry will be presented: blockchain, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, Web3, NFTs and market formation mechanisms, with simple, understandable and applied examples.

The main topics under discussion are:

• How does blockchain technology work?
• Why were cryptocurrencies created and what problems do they solve?
• What are Web3, DeFi and NFTs really?
• How are market prices formed and what are the risks in the industry?

The seminar will be led by Avetik Tameyan. Ms. Tameyan has more than 2 years of professional experience in the field of Cryptocurrencies and Digital Assets.

The seminar will take place on March 6 at 2:15 p.m., in NUACA Conference Hall on the First floor (Auditorium 2129).
