Dear university staff and students,
We would like to inform you that an open logo design contest is being organized, the aim of which is to create a unique and meaningful logo for the “Armenian Monument Portal” project.
The Project aims to create an interactive map, where all Armenian monuments of the Armenian Highlands will be presented on a single platform, with the necessary scientific and historical information. The map will be an educational–research, academic and accessible tool aimed at the preservation and dissemination of Armenian architectural heritage.
Logo requirements are as follows:
The Competition is open to designers, students and creative teams. Each participant can submit a maximum of 3 designs. Works should be sent by the following e-mail address; eharutyunyan@nuaca.am, indicating “Logo Contest – Armenian Monument Portal” in the subject line. The deadline for submissions is November 24.
The assessment criteria are: depth and symbolism of the idea, artistic and colour harmony, and ease of application in various environments.
The jury consists of NUACA professors, specialists in the field of Architecture and Cultural Heritage, as well as representatives of the Armenian Heritage Center in Valence, France, as the sponsoring organization of the website.
The winning logo of the Contest will become the official visual symbol of the “Armenian Monument Portal” project.
The author will be mentioned as the author of the logo on all relevant platforms and will receive a monetary prize by the initiators of the website and NUACA.
