Dear University staff and students,
We would like to announce that applications for the 2025–2026 “Eugene Ionescu” doctoral and postdoctoral research scholarships have been launched. The program is conducted by the Romanian Government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romanian, and coordination of the Francophone University Agency.
This program will provide Francophone doctoral students and professor-researchers with the opportunity to carry out a three-month research visit at one of the partner universities in Romania, which are members of the Francophone University Agency network.
These exchanges aim to strengthen scientific capacities and promote cooperation between Francophone universities in priority fields for the development of the beneficiary countries.
The program is open to doctoral students, lecturers and professor-researchers from educational institutions that are members of the Francophone University Agency (AUF), as well as individuals living and working in member or observer countries of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), including Algeria.
Applications should be submitted by November 30, at 11:59p.m. (Bucharest time: GMT+2). The mobility period is from May 1 to July 31, 2026. You can find the program conditions through the following link.
