NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia is organizing a workshop dedicated to the International Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day.

The main goal of the Event is to raise awareness among students and representatives of the professional field on the “Geographic Information Systems (GIS)” academic programme of the “Geomatics” specialty, which will make the possibilities of using GIS technologies more visible, will stimulate the involvement of students in research activities and will promote the exchange of knowledge and ideas. During the Workshop, specialists in the field will get acquainted with the applications and development trends of GIS in practice and in public administration systems. 

The Event will also serve as a platform that will become more inclusive and accessible to stakeholders (students, representatives of the education field, specialists in the field, and government bodies), as well as will familiarize them with laboratories furnished with modern technologies and educational processes of the University.
