Since 2015, within the framework of the Grant CIF Contract signed between NUACA and the “Educational Programs Center” PIU, the “Laboratory for the Issues of Environment, Conservation of Water Resources and Their Efficient Use” was established in order to increase the level of teaching of undergraduate and graduate students, as well as to carry out scientific and academic activities.
The Educational-Scientific Laboratory for the Issues of Environment, Conservation of Water Resources and Their Efficient Use is equipped with modern experimental measuring and testing devices, which allow to conduct modern experimental activities related to environmental research. The laboratory has a water distiller and a bidistiller, a muffle furnace with 13000C, fume hoods, a dryer for chemical substances with 3500C, a centrifuge with 19000 rpm, a radon meter, a turbidity meter, a spectrophotometer, a high-performance liquid chromatography, a potentiostat, a shaking mixer, microwave furnace for solid material decomposition, a device for measuring electrical conductivity, pH and dissolved oxygen of solutions, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, analytical scales with 220g and 500g, sound level meter, colorimeter, vacuum pump and micropipette.
