Within the scope of the Geoinformation or Geographical Information Systems (GIS) academic programme at NUACA, students will study modern computer technologies with the capability of data collection, storage, analysis, and graphical rendering. They include database systems, programs for editing raster and vector images, as well as a number of analytical tools.
Geoinformation systems are used in a number of fields: geodesy, cartography, construction, geology, defense, economics, urban management, etc.
