MA DEGREE ADMISSIONS CONDITIONS

 

For the MA degree studies at NUACA may be admitted those, who have successfully completed their full program of training in higher education in the relevant or related profession and have bachelor, degreed specialist or other master degree. Those citizens who already have master and degreed specialist’s degree can pursue their MA education only on paid basis (without the right of deferment). Foreign citizens can be admitted to MA studies based on interstate and interdepartmental contracts and agreements, additional places and by their own initiative (on paid basis).

 

Applicants must submit the following documents:

  • application written to the university Rector indicating the chosen profession,
  • bachelor, degreed specialist’s or MA diploma and transcript copies,
  • a document about education equivalency (for those who have obtained their higher education in foreign countries),
  • autobiography and 4 photos of 3×4 size,
  • The list of published or accepted for publication research papers.

 

For MA studies free of charge education competition can participate those, whose previous higher education final mark was 18 – 20 (in 20 point scale) or 5 (in 5 point scale).

 

To participate in free of charge or in paid education system (in case of right of deferment) the applicants from other universities and those who have related professions must pass state examination guided by the University’s appropriate Examination Commission.

 

Graduates of other universities and related disciplines are eligible to apply for MA studies on paid admission (without the right of deferment) if the difference between the curricula and subjects in Commission’s opinion does not exclude continuing the education in the given profession.

 

The Admission Committee corresponding to the Faculty conclusion implements MA competitive admission. Admission Committee studies and discusses the candidates competition details and carries out the competition taking into account the list of courses studied during the basic education.

 

MA studies admission competition is held according to the priority list of the following criteria:

  • grade Point Average (GPA) of previous learning programs,
  • compulsory subjects’ average cumulative score,
  • list of published or accepted for publication research papers,
  • Optional subjects’ average cumulative score.
