• 1968 – 1974  Polytechnical Institute of Yerevan (Faculty of engineering-construction, spec. Architecture).

Work experience

• 1974-1975 Armenian Research Institute of Construction and Architecture (ArmNIISA), an architect.
• 1975  Armenian Institute of Geodesy and Cartografy, an architect.
• 1975-1980 – State company “HAYGYUGHSHINNAKHAGITS”, an architect, senior architect, head of the architectural group.
• 1980-1992 – Yerevan municipality company “YERGORREMPROJEKT”, head of the architectural group, chief architect, Chief engineer of the institute.
• 1992-1996 – State Privatisation Commission of Republic of Armenia, member, chairman of the Commission.
• 1997-1998 – Ministry of  Privatisation of RA,  head of department.
• 1998-2000 – State Urban Inspection of RA, Head of  Yerevan department.
• 2000-2006  Yerevan municipality, Department of architecture and urban planning, Deputy chief.
• 2006-2009  Yerevan municipality, Legal department,  Head of the development and analysis of legislative documents.
• 2007-2011  concurrently – Yerevan State University, Faculty training, lecturer of urban planning legislation.
• 2009-2012 – Ltd. “Perspective”, chief architect.
• 2014– Union of Armenian architects,  Secretary of the Board.
• 2014 – National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia,  lecturer.
