• 1974 – 1979 – Teacher assistant at the Department of Resistance of Materials     at Yerevan State Polytechnic Institute.
• 1977 – 1980 – Postgraduate student at Moscow Engineering-Constructional      Institute.
• 1980 – present day – Associate Professor, Docent at the Department of    Theoretical Mechanics at Yerevan State Polytechnic Institute (since 1999 Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction)
• 2006 – 2007 – Head of the Department of educational reforms at Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction.
• 2007 – 2013 – Consultant, Head of Department for quality control of constructional works at AMERIA CJSC.
