Hydraulics Laboratory

The Hydraulic Educational-Scientific Laboratory under the Chair of Water Systems, Hydraulic Engineering and Hydropower has two laboratories with an area of 33m2 and 4.3m2 designed for experimental works of hydraulic engineering.

The laboratory is furnished with six experimental devices, which are used for conducting undergraduate educational laboratory work.

The following experiments are conducted in the laboratory:

  1. Demonstration of Bernoulli’s equation;
  2. Determination of fluid flow regime;
  3. Determination of the friction coefficient of the pipe;
  4. Determination of local resistance coefficient;
  5. Determination of leakage coefficients under steady pressure;
  6. Determination of the output coefficient of the waterspout;
  7. Determination of filtration coefficient.

The laboratory is intended solely for conducting necessary experiments during the educational process.
