ADMISSION TO FULL-TIME GRADUATE STUDY PROGRAM
National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA) in accordance with the Order 1193-N of the RA Minister of Education and Science dated December 6, 2007 “Procedure for Admission and Education of Graduate Studies in the Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Armenia” and the “Procedure for Admission of Graduate Studies at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia” approved by the decision of the Scientific Council of the “National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia”Foundation dated April 30, announces admission for the full-time state-funded and non-state-funded graduate studies of 2026-2027 academic year.

The applicant selects the direction of the “Project Management” academic programme when submitting an application:
- a) Project Management in Construction: 4 free places,
- b) Project Management in Information Technology: 2 free places,
- c) Project Management in Tourism, Cultural Heritage Management and GeoInformation Systems: 1 free place.
Graduate studies is an educational degree of the system of higher professional education and a form of training of highly qualified personnel.
A person holding an undergraduate, certified specialist or graduate degree can be admitted to the graduate programme to deepen their professional knowledge, re-specialize, conduct independent scientific research, acquire professional practical, innovative, and technological developments and new opportunities, and obtain a graduate degree.
Citizens with a graduate degree can receive a 2nd graduate education only on a not state-funded basis.
Admission to the graduate studies is conducted in two stages:
The first stage: applicants’ documents for places receiving full reimbursement of tuition fees in the form of an allowance (state-funded) provided by the state and approved by the RA Government for the given academic year are accepted from May 27 to June 19 included, while the competition will be summarized by June 30, in which graduates holding an undergraduate or certified specialist degree are eligible to participate.
The second stage: applicants’ documents are accepted from May 27 to June 19 included by 5 p.m. and from July 20 to August 21, and the competition will be summarized by September 1, according to the not state-funded study places of the given academic year approved by the Ministry.
Applicants who meet the additional mandatory requirements for admission to the given academic programme are eligible to apply for admission to certain graduate academic programmes, who must pass a professional entrance exam.
Applicants should submit the following documents:
- Originals and copies of passport and social security card or identity card;
- Application addressed to the Rector of the University, indicating the chosen specialty and academic programme;
- Originals and copies of undergraduate, graduate and certified specialist diplomas and their supplements (inserts) or academic reference, sealed and signed (presented by graduates of the given year who have not yet received a graduation document),
- For those who have received higher education in foreign countries, a certificate of equivalence of the diploma provided by the National Information Center for Academic Recognition and Mobility in the Republic of Armenia must be submitted with the diploma,
- Autobiography and 3 photos (size 3×4);
- List of scientific works published or accepted for publication (if available).
- A copy of the military ID card or the original and a copy of the conscription registration certificate.
Applicants pay 7000 (seven thousand) AMD for admission services of graduate study program, which must be transferred to the account number of the “NUACA Foundation”: 15100-01964940200, indicating the name, surname, patronymic and the chosen academic programme in the purpose field. Applicants who present the original and a copy of the documents proving their right to the benefits listed below are exempt from paying the admission fee.)
Please submit the required documents in case of having the status in accordance with the procedure on “Reimbursement of Tuition Fees in the Form of an Allowance in Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Armenia (full or partial (discount)) and Awarding a State Scholarship” approved by the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia № 1183-N dated July 27, 2006.
- Children left without parental care stipulated in the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Social Protection of Children Left without Parental Care”, as well as persons under the age of 23 belonging to the number of children left without parental care, and in cases specified by law, also until the end of their studies,
- Ex-servicemen who have the right to a military pension of the 1st or 2nd group of disability while performing official duties during the period of compulsory military service, according to the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Military Service and the Status of Servicemen”,
- The parents, husband (wife), children under 27 years of age of killed (deceased) servicemen, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Military Service and the Status of Servicemen”.

According to the Decision N 1035-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated June 18, 2020, the income tax calculated in the manner prescribed by the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia for the salary of a learner (student) studying in any of the specialties (Design, Informatics (Computer Science), Architecture, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Tourism, Environmental Protection) of the graduate studies of the accredited higher education institutions of the Republic of Armenia is refunded for the purpose of the tuition fee reimbursement.

Dear applicant,
The date of the entrance exams for the 2026-2027 academic year for the state-funded graduate studies is set for June 25 at 10:00 a.m. Applicants will be notified in advance about the exam rooms.
The number of places allocated for admission to state-funded and not state-funded full-time Graduate studies is preliminary.
We would like to inform you that in the case that a suitable group is not formed in accordance with the procedure established by the University for the two graduate programs specified in the admission application or if the applicant is excluded from the competitions, the admitted applicant will be offered the opportunity to participate in the admission competition for another academic programme, if possible.
