Work experience

  • Since 1990 to present-Director Yerevan Architectural Museum-Institute.
  • Since 1985 to present-Lecturer at the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction and Yerevan Academy of Fine Arts.

Academic fields, directions

  • Art, Architecture and Urban Development, Painting, Design, Historical-theoretical Issues, current research interests-Study of creations of Armenian architects of foregin, countries, issues of relationship between the symbolic mentality and architecture.

Participation in projecting, scientific research or other programs

  • More than 45 designs and projects including residential and public buildings implemented in Yerevan, Masis, Armavir, Abovian, Tsaghkadzor a memorial spring dedicated to the Armenian-Italian friendship in Bari, Italy, decorative design of exhibitions in Grenoble (France), Venice (Italy), Moscow (Russia), Lisbon (Portugal), Athens (Greece) and in other places.
  • In 1983-First Class Diploma for “The Best Design of the Year”, Moscow.
  • In 1983-Second and Third Class Diplomas in Yerevan for the design of low residential buildings.
  • Since 1980-Member of the Armenian and International Architects Unions
  • Since 2001-Member of the Armenian Union and International Association of Designers
  • Since 1998-Corresponding Member of the Engineering Academy of Armenia.
  • Since 1999-Professor of Yerevan Academy of Fine Arts.
