Faculty of management and technology

In 2014 University departments were structurally replaced by faculties and consequently the Department of Management and Technology was renamed to Faculty of Management and Technology with its 2 Chairs of

  1. Informatics, Calculations and Management Systems
  2. Economics, Law and Management

BA and MA degrees are awarded for the following specialties:

  • Economics and Management of Enterprises (in Construction Industry)
  • Economics and Management of Enterprises (in Municipal Services, Housing and Communal Services)
  • Economics and Management of Enterprises (in Transport Industry)
  • Nature Management Economics
  • Accounting (in Construction Industry)

 

   

 

Faculty cooperates with research and educational institutions of Georgia, Russia, China, Poland, Germany, Sweden and Italy enabling its students’ future educational continuation abroad. There are 6 computer labs and 80 computers connected to Internet as well as basal laboratories.

 

FACULTY MISSION

The Faculty of Management and Technology is the largest in its number of professors and students within NUACA and is one of the leading ones with its significance and role. Its mission is to

  • Prepare highly qualified specialists for wide range of domestic and foreign labor markets’demand, ensure the appropriate combination of theory and practice, curricula modernization and intensification of partnerships.
  • Support innovative scientific research and practical application of results, strengthen scientific and pedagogical potential, its reproduction and development.
  • Establish direct bilateral and multilateral ties with both local and international research organizations and legal entities for various training activities, teaching, exchange of experts, scientific, cultural and other activities, consultations and expeditions as well as delivery of paid services.

Matriculation is available for the following specialties:

  1. Informatics and Calculations Technology (classifier 230100) Its graduates can find employment in the fields of computer network design and operation, safety insurance of software systems, design and utilization of information, digital microprocessor design and databases, repair and maintenance of computer and external devices. Entrance examinations are: mathematics, physics .
  2. Information Systems of Management (classifier 081300) Graduates can work in the factories and enterprises where it is necessary to develop and exploit automated systems of technological processes, computer networks, programs for accounting and applied problem-sets’ solving, banking information system, insurance of software systems’ safety.   3. Economics, Law and Management The faculty trains specialists in construction, municipal, housing and communal services sector, natural resource economics, real estate, management and environmental expertise.
  4. Economics and Management of Enterprises (in Construction Industry, classifier 080600) Graduates can work in the capital construction sectors as economists, managers, organizers, accounting specialists. Specialty graduates can also work in the banking sector, insurance companies, financial institutions, civil service system. Entrance examinations are mathematics, physics **.
  5. Economics and Management of Enterprises (in Municipal Services, Housing and Communal Services, classifier 080600) Specialty graduates can work in local government, condominiums, civic, residential, construction, industrial enterprises as economists, financiers and administrative officers. Economics and Management of Enterprises (in Transport Industry, 080600 classifier (2)) Specialty graduates can work in local government, condominiums, civic, residential, construction, and industrial enterprises as economists, financiers and administrative officers.
